Flores Folk Art Skeleton and Bull

Incredibly charming diorama done by the internationally collected Flores Family from Izucar de Matomoras. Both father and son are now deceased, but their naive and fantastical pieces live on in collections all over the globe. Brought to fame by Alexander Girard and his numerous exhibitions prior to being housed permanently in Santa Fe. This scene features a Skelton riding a bull and a Skelton as a matador egging him on. Piece also doubles a candle holder. In very good vintage condition with usual fading to analine colors.  Piece measures approximately 7” long, 4” deep and 6,1/2” tall.
Price includes shipping to mainland USA. Please contact shop if needed shipped elsewhere at additional charge.
