Vernon Jay Morse Western Painting
Very handsome little Painting of a Cowboy and horse in the dessert. Featuring Yucca in bloom and vast desert and mountains range. Painting is on board, in original Saguaro rib frame, done by gift shop in Santa Fe that original sold these smaller Paintings. My guess is, Morse, a Californian at the time, spent days in New Mexico Painting and most likely sold his Paintings to this shop. Similar Paintings of this nature have sold at Auction. Painting is in Good condition , Board aged in Fait and Frame is sturdy and in great condition. Circa 1930's or earlier? Price includes shipping (US mainland) and Insurance
