Wonderful Early 1920-40's Smaller Sombrero with chainstitch Mexican Eagle emblem. Felted Sombrero was most likely sold at Mexican Curio Shops at the border or in Tourists shops throughout the Southwest and into Mexico. Today larger velvet Mariachi Sombreros are peddled, along with very inexpensive straw ones. Sombrero is in Fair Vintage Condition given for its age. Not meant to be worn today, but displayed as decor. 17" by 16" by 5 1/2" Price includes Shipping (US mainland) and Insurance.
